My weekend

About one o'clock on Friday my best friend called and asked if we could do a kiddie swap. We take the kids tonight and she and her husband would take the kids on Saturday night into Sunday. I called Joe and he said sure. My girlfriend hadn't had a night away from her kids in seven years and I hadn't had a night away since the beginning of December 2006. Friday into Saturday was tough but when they left the house didn't look so bad. Saturday into Sunday was wonderful. We went to dinner and then browsed Barnes and Noble came home and had a glass of wine. (yes I did great on my program even with all the extra). Sunday we slept late and went on a 12 1/2 mile bike ride. I felt great. We even had an extra 1/2 hour alone. Kids seemed to have a great time. I felt like I didn't see Adam all weekend. When he was here he was outside playing with other kids. Kaitlyn, however, had a difficult time with it as there were too many kids to boss around. She has had trouble coming back into the house as I believe she is tired. OH well....it was a blissful day!!!
