It has only taken 2 months...but I am almost there!!!! Of course I lost 1/2 the furniture in my house and have been trying to fit the stuff I fit in a 1395 sq ft finished and 1395 unfinished basement storage area into a 1600 sq ft town home. I am down to 4 boxes in my dining room, 2 boxes in the utility closet, one in the bathroom and 1 in the wash room. I also have the storage area. Joe is selling my washer and dryer for me and I am hoping it goes fast. I would love to have the 500-600 to get the kids shoes and things for school etc. I have just been purging and I LOOOVE it. Yesterday I purged two garbage bags of trash, three of toys to donate to various places. I was getting to the point I HATED my room and now it is not so chaotic and feels good. I just need to hang pictures on the walls in my room and finish Kaitlyns. I still have one small load out at the house. The final touches will be when Joe gets his office complete. UGH!! That is his project but one in motion for sure. He is talking about getting his bookshelves this weekend. I am really happy to finally not have to go to someone to approve whether or not it is ok to get read of a pen that is not working only to put it into a pile because it had some stupid setimental value. UGH!! I have to say though that I have had to be careful not to just get rid of everything. I know there are somethings that the kids would like eventually.
The other thing that I remember is going through my mom's things when I was little and having little treasure that meant things to my mom. Like jewelry and other trinkets. I have also a pair of earrings of my sisters which is the last thing I have of hers. I will keep those!!
