My biggest fear going through the divorce is that the kids wouldn't have a home base and would spend 1/2 time with me and 1/2 time with him. I just was having trouble stomaching it as I can't see how there would be that much stability for the kids, especially Adam.
I got what I wanted and what the kids needed stability. I have physical custody of them.....I can't believe it. The kids are so fortunate and blessed. I see so many kids being transferred between parents three days here, four days there....things at dads things at Mom's. I just couldn't imagine it. I hope the kids find comfort in the security I offer them.

I am sure they will Theresa. My brother has his son 4 days a week and his ex-wife 3 days a week. Good and bad points. Their divorce was different than yours, they are better parents to my nephew as divorced parents, than as married parents. :) Good luck!
