The night before last I had a dream that lived with me all day. So strange and vivid I couldn't figure it out.
The dream occured in my childhood parish in Colorado. I was getting married but instead of being in the traditional bridal attire I was in was the garb a priest would wear over my simple wedding gown. I was waiting at the back of the church and the groom and his parents walked down the side aisle to the altar. It was Jim but he was whole and strong with his parents. I went up the aisle and at the end of the aisle was Joe. I went to sit and there was a spot for Joe and I and then Jim's mother and then my father. I signaled her and pointed across the aisle on my side as I wanted to sit next to the two most important men in my life....Joe and my dad. I wondered why she was there in the first place and inside I thought she had the right to be there and I would just have to be at peace with it. Jim was then sitting next to me....and it was someone who I could depend on and lean on...someone I was looking for my whole marriage. However, when I said my vows I said them to Joe. What an odd, odd dream. I had a feeling of pure peace and happiness....ideas on the meaning???

That could be very well it. It was exactly what I was looking for my whole life. I was looking for an equal...but there was never an equal offered. Even before. I still don't understand why I was in priest vestments. Maybe it was that I am clothed in Christs love. I knew I could depend on you Lisa for a good interpretation. Thanks.
