Taking back the control over me

So today I was talking with Jim to arrange for him to take him to the dr. on Monday. We were pleasantly discussing the kids and I kept on referring to things that went on in our house as "we" (eg. we do this, we take them here, we have this). In the middle of the conversation he said, "I wish you would not talk about things as "we" and use "I"" I told him "No because that is the way my life is." And went on in the conversation. I see how much power he used to have over me including when I would talk. No more!!! :)
